Hole in One Challenge – Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

1.1. The Hole in One Challenge (the "Challenge") is open to all individuals aged 18 years or older and in good health.
1.2. Professional golfers (defined as individuals who receive monetary compensation for playing golf or possess a professional golf status) are not eligible to participate.
1.3. By entering the Challenge, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Participation

2.1. The entry fee for participation is R250 (Two Hundred and Fifty Rand) per entry.
2.2. Upon payment, participants will receive five (5) golf balls to attempt the Challenge.
2.3. Participants may only enter the Challenge once per day.
2.4. The Challenge may only be attempted during official operating hours as designated by the event organizers.
2.5. Participants must use only the golf clubs and balls provided by the event organizers during the session.
2.6. All attempts must be completed within the same session – no carry-over or postponement of attempts is permitted.

3. Challenge Rules

3.1. The objective is to achieve a hole-in-one using one of the five balls provided.
3.2. Only equipment provided by the organizers may be used.
3.3. Any misuse of equipment, non-compliance with event staff instructions, or breach of course rules may result in immediate disqualification.
3.4. A ball must come to rest completely within the hole to qualify as a valid hole-in-one; a ball that bounces out or does not remain in the hole will not be considered successful.

4. Prize

4.1. A prize will be awarded to any participant who successfully achieves a verified hole-in-one.
4.2. The prize will be paid via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to the verified participant’s South African bank account.
4.3. Prize awarding is subject to the following conditions:
   a) Clear and undisputed video evidence must verify the hole-in-one.
   b) Verification that the participant is not a professional golfer.
   c) If verification cannot be completed or video evidence is insufficient, the prize will not be awarded.
4.4. The organizers’ decision on prize verification is final and binding.

5. Refund Policy

5.1. All entry fees are non-refundable, regardless of whether a participant completes the Challenge or achieves a hole-in-one.

6. Liability and Risk

6.1. Participation in the Challenge is entirely at the participant’s own risk.
6.2. The event organizers, sponsors, and venue owners are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during or in connection with participation in the Challenge.
6.3. Participants must follow all safety instructions and guidelines issued by the organizers at all times.

7. Disqualification

7.1. The event organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant at their sole discretion for:
   a) Breach of any of these Terms and Conditions;
   b) Disorderly, inappropriate, or unsafe behavior;
   c) Fraudulent misrepresentation or dishonesty.

8. Amendments

8.1. The event organizers reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
8.2. Any amendments will be communicated to participants before the commencement of play.

9. Privacy and Personal Information

9.1. By participating in the Challenge, participants consent to the collection, processing, and use of their personal information for the purposes of administering the Challenge and verifying eligibility and prize claims.
9.2. Personal information will be handled in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, No. 4 of 2013 (POPIA) and the event organizers’ Privacy Policy.
9.3. Participants consent to the use of their name, likeness, video footage, and photographs for marketing and promotional purposes relating to the event, without any further compensation.
9.4. Participants have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information by contacting the event organizers.

10. Governing Law

10.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the National Consumer Protection Act, No. 68 of 2008.
